Quick Details
The thought of dipping below the surface at night seems mysterious, yet so alluring. Although you’ve been scuba diving at a site many times before, at night you drop into a whole new world and watch it come to life under the glow of your dive light. The scene changes as day creatures retire and nocturnal organisms emerge. If you’ve wondered what happens underwater after the sun goes down, sign up for our weekly night dives.
The boat leaves just before sunset, so your ride to the dive site offers one of the best views of our beautiful St. John sunsets. As you arrive at the site, there is still a bit of light to get your eyes adjusted as you begin your night experience. Then as you do your dive, day turns to complete darkness and the show begins.
This is a one-tank trip and you are usually back around 8:00 pm, depending on the time of the year. Bring your own light or we will have one for you to use. Our dives are led by one of our instructors who will provide you with a full briefing and extra care and details for those who are jumping into night diving for the first time. This dive is fun for both experienced and novice divers.
Night dives can be scheduled for other nights, but advanced reservations are required.
